*The more unpredictable you are with your movements in the ring the least chance there is that you will get tagged and the
better chance you have of finding an opening*
Using angles and sideway movements is unpredictable
•Side step or slip a punch
•punch then move sideways or at an angle
around the bag or a partner/opponent.
Using feints
•Pretend to punch then switch (fake).
•Practice by faking
to the head, then aiming low,
•Drop low after throwing punches
Tip
* Look at you opponent
if they are tense, they will be susceptible to
exaggerated flinches (fakes)*
Combos
•Jab, Cross, Pivot right, Cross hook
•Jab, Cross, Jab, Pivot left, Right hook to body
•Jab, Cross, Jab, Cross, Jab, Body Cross.
*Tap upstairs to leave
downstairs open...*
•Jab, Cross, Jab, Cross, Left Body
• Tap downstairs, Right uppercut, Left hook.
*When working body,
opponent's chin tends to raise up for a good uppercut.*
• Jab, Cross, Jab, Overhand (don't hit with thumb, hit with fist).
