🥊 Jones vs. Bruner Set For Oct 28 🥊

OKLAHOMA CITY, Okla. – Terrance Jones is set to face JP Bruner on the Hackman Boxing #MassacreAtTheMarket undercard Oct. 28 at the OKC Farmers Market.

The 53-year-old Jones (14-18-1, 7 KOs) last fought in Guthrie, losing a four-round unanimous decision (40-36 x3) to Steven Crowfield. Jones is a veteran of 34 professional bouts. In his 14 pro victories, he stopped seven opponents within the scheduled distance. 🥊🌟

#MassacreAtTheMarket will be Jones’ second time competing on a Hackman Boxing card.

“To be 53 and fighting on the card with the who’s who of boxing in Oklahoma is a great honor,” Jones said. “The October 28th card is stacked. I feel honored to be featured alongside these young guys. The plan is to go out there and show everyone the old man still has something left in the tank.”

Throughout his career, which began in 1996, "The Big Game Hunter" fought in several venues throughout the United States, along with two bouts in Canada and one in Denmark. His pro debut was a six-round unanimous decision triumph over 12-fight veteran Ismail Tillis. 👊💥

“My coaches were confident in my ability and thought I had a good chance against my opponent, especially in a six-round fight,” Jones said. “They knew I was seasoned enough to take him on in my debut fight.”

Jones started his career 8-0, with five knockouts, before tasting defeat.

Bruner (0-1) came up short in his debut to Paul Gutierrez, retiring after the third round. Bruner did land some solid shots in his debut, he just appeared to run out of gas before the final round.

Jones versus Bruner is scheduled for four rounds in the super middleweight division.
